Georgia Daze Weekend

Georgia Daze Students

In the Fall of 2004, three African American students founded Georgia Daze at the University of Georgia.

Georgia Daze Weekend serves as an overnight campus visitation program for high school seniors admitted to the University of Georgia.  Students are paired with current Georgia Daze students who serve as ambassadors throughout the admitted student's visit. Additionally, each participant will be assigned a Georgia Daze student host who will welcome them to stay in their on-campus residence throughout the visit.

We are excited that this year is the 20th anniversary of the program! Throughout these decades we have been successful in exposing prospective admitted students and their families to the vibrant cultural community existing at UGA. From our world-class faculty, engaging staff, outstanding students, and campus leaders, this experience will surely impact your desire to COMMIT to the G!
